Car Hire:

Car rental from your chosen Swiss airport offers a speedy and cost-effective travel alternative. Swiss Travel Service has negotiated excellent car hire rates through Avis and can also offer you a fly drive option to transport you to resort.

Car Hire with Avis:

Collection and return of your rental vehicle is at the Swiss airport. Train tickets and the fly luggage transfer service are not included.  Supplements or reductions should be added to or deducted from your holiday price.

Include in the rental cost-
Unlimited mileage, third party liability, all taxes, Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), theft protection, and airport service charge. 

Not Included-
Road fee of 80p per day, and vehicle registration fee which are payable locally. Fuel.




Notes for car hire:

• Minimum rental is 3 days and is calculated in periods of 24 hours from the time of collection. An extra day's car hire will be charged at local rates if the car is returned late.
• Minimum age: 20 years for all vehicles. Surcharge of £4.50 per day (maximum £80 per rental) payable locally for drivers under 25 years.
• All drivers require a current driving license held for a minimum of one year. This must be supported by a passport if the licence does not have a photograph.
• A deposit (an impression of your credit card) will be required when you collect the car.
• Additional drivers approx. £4 per day - maximum £40 per rental.
