Discover Switzerland by train. We've selected Switzerland's most beautiful train journeys for this winter rail tour which takes you on a series of aweinspiring train journeys through the beauty and majestic splendour of the Swiss Alps. 

Ride the Bernina Express, the highest rail journey in Europe, travel the narrow gauge tracks of the Brunig on the GoldenPass Line from Davos to Grindelwald and finally take your seat on the fabulous Glacier Express, a train journey that passes through glacier regions and mountain passes, through tunnels and over bridges and, at its peak, reaches the dizzying height of 2,033m. This stunning tour will appeal to anyone wanting to see the magical, snow-covered landscapes and enchanting beauty of the Swiss Alps, as well as wanting to enjoy the world-class resorts of Davos and Grindelwald.

ACCOMMODATION & BOARD BASIS

• 6 nights half board accommodation with buffet breakfast and four course evening meal, including free use of indoor pool in each hotel and free soft drinks, beer & mineral water from the minibar:
• 2 nights half board accommodation in a standard twin room with bath or shower, wc, TV, radio, telephone, minibar, safe and hairdryer at Sunstar Parkhotel Davos
• 3 nights half board accommodation in a standard twin room with bath or shower, wc, TV, radio, telephone, minibar, safe and hairdryer at Sunstar Hotel Grindelwald
• 1 night half board accommodation in standard room back at Sunstar Parkhotel Davos

• Return scheduled flights from London City to Zurich
• 2nd class rail travel throughout including return transfers between Zurich Airport and Davos, plus seat reservations and supplements on the Bernina Express, GoldenPass Line and Glacier Express
• Transfers between local train or bus station and hotels on arrival and departure days

• Standard single rooms are available on request at no supplement
• Children receive a reduction on the adult price when sharing a room with two paying adults. Their board basis is bed & breakfast - parents are reccommended to pay for special children's menu locally
• Entrances in to attractions and activities are not included
• We can pre- book lift passes and rental equipment if you wish to ski or snowboard in Grindelwald on Day 4 or 5
