Sights

Make your first stop the Jet d'Eau, opposite the Quai du Mont -Blanc, then visit the Jardin Anglais which is a relaxing spot with an unusual floral clock. Continue on your way through the twisty cobbled streets of the old town, taking in well-preserved building and historic mansions - the private residences or the statue of General Dufour on Place neuve perhaps? Explore the Museum of Modern Art or enjoy a senses sensation at the Five senses garden with its aromatic and medicinal plants (thirty minutes away). Lausanne, Montreux or Vevey are within easy reach of Geneva via steamer or train.

Geneva

Geneva is a beautiful, French speaking, cosmopolitan city, framed by the Alps, the Jura Mountains and Lake Geneva. Known for its signature fountain, the "Jet d'Eau" which is the most famous water fountain in the world. The fountain was originally a safety valve for Geneva's water supply, but now serves only a decorative purpose, as a stunning attraction (March - September only).
