Les Diablerets
Les Diablerets is an unspoilt village set amid spectacular Alpine scenery strewn with wooden chalets, traditional farm buildings, meadows and forests. It covers an extensive area at the foot of the glacier. The resort is famous for its legends and tales and the Music and Snow festival (classical music), which runs from January to March.
Les Diablerets has been officially recognised as a "family friendly resort" by the Swiss Authorites. The lift pass covers 220km of prepared pistes and includes Villars Gyron. It also provides access to Leysin and Les Mosses which can be reached by road. There is a nursery area in the village for complete beginners and for those looking to progress to intermediate abilities, the sunny Isenau and Palette will offer plenty of challenges. A good mixture of blue and red slopes can also be found down to Meilleret and Les Mazots.
Experience some spectacular skiing on Glacier 3000 and a range of fun activities including the 'Alpine coaster' snowcat rides and dog sledding. Snowboarders are well catered for wth snow parks at Bretaye, Les Chaux and Les Diablerets.
